Tips to grow and prune roses
In cold regions, in winter, protect the base of the branches with leaves or soil. You will remove these protections in the spring.
Roses are relativelyheavy feeders! Add fertilizer 3 times a year (March, July and September). Watering is also very important, especially the first year.
Remove wilted flowers by cutting the branches below the 2nd leaf after each flower, this promotes the onset of new flowers.
